Our Story: How It All Began
Terrell Johnson, the co-founder of Royal Blue Restaurant, started his now successful business with a food truck. His journey to restaurateur began with his childhood and watching his mother cook. Terrell is from North Philadelphia and was raised by a single mother along with his brothers and sister.
From a young age, he was interested in the way his mother cooked; he watched her do it every day. He didn’t know then that this would be a passion of his later in life. When he had the idea to open up a food truck, he knew this was the beginning of something great.
The food truck was a success and after a couple of years, Terrell decided to turn it into a restaurant. Royal Blue Restaurant is now a staple in the city and is known for its delicious food.
Terrell’s story is one of hard work and determination paying off. He followed his dreams and turned them into reality through sweat equity and dedication to his vision.
Hannah's bio
Started off in the restaurant business at the young age of 13yrs old bussing tables and worked my way to waitress. I took a liking to the culinary arts while being employed at a restaurant and received training from some great Chefs. My brother Ronnie McDaniels being one chef who’s trained me, and my Best friend . Both great chefs who’s helped me perfect my craft. During my years in the restaurant business I connected with my partner Terrell Johnson! Also a great chef! We both shared the same passions and went into business together! From a food truck to a restaurant. We worked hard to create a restaurant where people could come enjoy family and and amazing food…
